Terms of service
Financial Affidavit Numbers ("the service") turns bank and credit card statements you supply into a worksheet of monthly figures. By using it you agree to these terms. Text version 2026-10-27.
What the service does and does not do
Before any of your statements is read, you choose your state and accept the statement for it. Both are repeated here:
California. This is calculation software. It adds up and averages the transactions in the statements you upload, in the categories you choose. It is not a law firm, a lawyer or a legal document assistant, and it does not give legal advice. It does not fill in, prepare or file your FL-150 or any other court form; you copy the numbers onto the court's form yourself. You decide which category each item belongs in and whether it counts. The FL-150 is signed under penalty of perjury, so check every number against your statements. If you are unsure how to answer something on the form, ask a lawyer or your court's free self-help center.
Florida. This is calculation software. It adds up and averages the transactions in the statements you upload, in the categories you choose. It is not a law firm, a lawyer or a nonlawyer who helps with court forms, and it does not give legal advice. It does not fill in, prepare or file your Family Law Financial Affidavit (Form 12.902(b) or 12.902(c)) or any other court form; you copy the numbers onto the court's form yourself. You decide which category each item belongs in and whether it counts. The financial affidavit is sworn under penalties of perjury, so check every number against your statements. If you are unsure how to answer something on the form, ask a lawyer or the self-help center of your county's circuit court (the Florida courts list them at flcourts.gov).
In short: the service adds up and averages the transactions in your statements, in the categories you choose, and shows you the result line by line with the transactions behind each figure. It does not fill in, prepare or file the FL-150, Florida Form 12.902(b) or (c), or any other court form, and it does not tell you which form to use, what counts as income, or what to claim.
Your responsibility
You decide which category each transaction belongs in and how each flagged item is treated. You decide which numbers, if any, to copy onto a court form, and you sign that form. A financial affidavit is signed under penalty of perjury, so check every figure against your statements and your records. The worksheet is only as complete as the statements you supply.
What these terms do not do
Ticking the box records that you understood what the service is and that you made every choice. It does not change what the service is, and it does not take away any right the law gives you that cannot be given up by agreement. Nothing in these terms limits such rights.
No promise about your case
We make no promise about the outcome of any court case or about how a court, a lawyer or the other party will view the figures.
Payment, re-runs and refunds
The free preview shows your statements, their reconciliation, the category review and the first figures. A one-time payment through Stripe unlocks every figure, the worksheet PDF with its schedule, and a CSV, and lets you rebuild them on the same device for 30 days after payment (for example, to add a month or change a choice). Refunds are given on request within 30 days of payment, without argument: email the address below.
Privacy
Your statements are read in your browser and are not uploaded as files. If you ask for category suggestions, only merchant descriptions are sent, through OpenRouter to Anthropic's Claude. After payment, the transactions with your categories and choices are sent once each time you make the PDF, and the finished PDF is kept for 24 hours. The full details are on the privacy page.
What this service is not
Financial Affidavit Numbers is not a law firm, a lawyer, a legal document assistant or a nonlawyer form preparer, and using it creates no attorney-client relationship. It is not affiliated with any court. If you are unsure how to answer something on a court form, ask a lawyer or your court's free self-help center.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid.
